TTRPGs
I create small tabletop role-playing games, mostly solo journaling games, usually under 25 pages.
My games include:
- The Dream Date (PocketQuest 2025 submission)
- Reel To Real (PWYW)
- I hope this apocalypse finds you well
- Ten Jumps Till Eternity (PocketQuest 2026 submission)
The Dream Date

Release Date: May 2025 (as part of the 2025 PocketQuest challenge „Dream/Nightmare“)
Genre: Dating Game for 1 or 2 players
What’s happening: Two persons have recently met, got to know each other and decided to meet up for a date. In this d6-dicepool game, you’ll create two characters who will have three consecutive dates. For each date, you can decide where the new couple meets, what is the highlight of the date, what complications occur and how the date ends. Additionally, you can also determine if those decisions are turning this date into a dream date… or a date that will cause nightmares.
Contains:
- a 19-page journaling TTRPG for up to two players in 4 different versions (english/german and normal/printer-friendly).
- a short example journaling story about John and Ellen
Reel To Real

Release Date: September 2025
Genre: Movie curation, presentation and discussion for 1 player (or multiple players)
What’s happening: You are the curator of a movie festival that shows three movies in a particular genre. Inspired by Void 1680 AM, you can select the movies and theme of the festival based on prompts and random tables. You can present the movie with personal flair, like how you experienced the movie yourself for the first time, what it meant when it came out and how perception has changed over the years or how it fits to the theme of the festival. Audience members can also ask additional questions and maybe some mishaps might occur along the way. As a special design choice the entire manual is written in a screenplay format.
Contains:
- a 25-page solo journaling TTRPG
- a 7-page tables-only PDF (without the screenplay format)
- a journaling template document
- an example story for a „No Points, No Clicks, Just Adventure“ festival
- PWYW

I hope this apocalypse finds you well

Release Date: February 2026
Genre: Workplace horror survival for 1 player (or multiple players)
What’s happening: What used to be a dream job in one of the most prestigious companies of the world, becomes a fight for survival, as you have to fulfill daily rituals to calm down something that is hidden in the base of the company tower. Based on the Wretched & Alone system, this game employs the use of a wooden tension stack tower (which would rhyme with Venga), where each performed ritual peels back layers of the company, their employees, the tower and the things the tower is hiding. Can you survive this job, or will you let the whole tower crumble? (P.S. the style of the manual is deliberate, as it should look like a simple company ISO 9001 document)
Contains:
- a 21-page solo journaling TTRPG
- an 18-page example document with two stories (one with a physical stack tower, one with the alternative no-tower-rules)

Ten Jumps Till Eternity

Release Date: May 2026 (as part of the 2026 PocketQuest challenge „Time Travel“)
Genre: Multiversal identity search for 1 player (or multiple players)
What’s happening: Your universe is destroyed as you go on about your normal daily routine, yet something preserved you in this multiversal cataclysm as you are being thrown through the multiverse that’s always slightly different. A key chain has another key attached to it, an old photo hanging on the wall having different persons on it, room configurations that change. As you make your way through the multiverse, you try to deduce who you are in those different universes, what different choices you have done in the past, eventually determining if you still recognise the person you have become after several changes in the past.
Contains:
- a 20-page solo journaling TTRPG
- a 9-page example story for Jennifer

Background
I have made several blog posts for the separate games, such as an entry for Reel To Real (and an additional entry here at the beginning of the development), as well as several entries for The Dream Date. There’s also a devlog for the apocalypse game as well on itch.io.
I remember being a small child, being so inspired by games like The Game of Life or Hotel in the late 80s and early 90s, that at some point I drew a whole gameboard on a large piece of cardboard, stored under my bed. Later in the early 2010s, I did a German translation for Cards Against Humanity together with my friends. All those ideas, all those attempts, eventually led me start thinking about game design and potential game ideas. It took another decade and the first attempts at publishing my own content in the D&D community, as well as several writing challenges until I had my first finished product in my hands, „The Dream Date“. What started out as a fun two-person journaling idea, eventually got flashed out into a whole game experience that could also serve as a story engine for romantic stories. A year later, I’ve released my fourth game so far and most of them have been influenced by other solo journaling such as Void 1680 AM, The Wretched & Alone or Entity. So if you like those kinds of games, you might also have a look at some of mine. And I would also like to hear your opinion on them, if you’ve bought and played them.
